Hawaii: All Inclusive Resorts and General Tourist Information
Each year millions of tourists travel to Hawaii, some for the first time but many as return visitors who couldn’t get enough sun, surfing, and culture on their original trip. No matter if it is your first time or your hundredth, Apple Specials has plenty of all inclusive packages available to make sure you have such a great time that you’ll want to return!
Hawaiian Islands
Hawaii is a volcanic island chain in the Pacific Ocean and the most recently accepted state in
America. British explorer James Cook was the first European to discover Hawaii in 1778 and originally named it “The Sandwich Islands” after his financier John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich. It was an independent territory from 1894 until 1898, when it became a US territory. It was a territory during the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 and eventually became the United States’ 50th state in 1959.
Today, Hawaii is home to over a million permanent citizens as well as guests and US military. The citizens of the island speak both English and the Hawaiian Language, descended from Polynesian dialects. Culturally, Hawaii is a blend of North American, Asian, and local influences that make up it radiant traditions and customs.
Over a hundred islands comprise Hawaii, though the most commonly known are the eight main islands, which are a bit larger. The main eight islands are Hawaii (The Big Island), Maui, Oahu, Kauai, Lanai, Molokai, Kahoolawe, and Niihau.
Climate
Hawaii has a tropical climate, though it is less humid than a typical tropical environment. Temperature highs consistently stay in the 80s year round. Hawaii really only has two seasons, the dry season from May to October and the wet season the remainder of the year. Snow can fall in some areas during the winter months up in the peaks of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on The Big Island. Mount Wai’ale’ale on Kauai has the second highest rainfall per year on the planet, averaging 460 inches annually.
Tourism
Tourism is one of Hawaii’s main sources of revenue, with millions of visitors travelling to the island each year. Guests enjoy the climate, culture and relaxed atmosphere. English-speaking tourists especially appreciate the comfort and easiness of being able to communicate with the natives in their own language.
Tourist activities include snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving, whale watching, dining on local cuisine, entertainment based on native culture, and tours of the surrounding areas.
Best Time To Go
Honestly, Hawaii is lovely all year long. During the winter, the nights tend to be a little chillier, with temperatures in the sixties, but the days are always pleasant.
The waters of the Pacific Ocean off of Hawaii’s shores are particularly spectacular. They stay so warm that guests don’t even have to run while shivering back to a towel to dry; instead they can slowly bask in the sun’s rays.
It is possible to encounter rain storms from October to April, but they are usually just passing showers.
Apple vacations offers year-round vacation plans including all inclusive packages for whenever you decide to visit.
Rose Hall in Jamaica: The Ritz Carlton’s Fancy Resort, Mon!
Nothing says “ritzy” like the Ritz Carlton. And nothing says “vacation” like Jamaica. So these two epic forces joined together and created a beautiful Caribbean resort called the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall. Caribbean warmth is combined with Old World appeal to create this dazzling beachfront resort, open since 2000. Stretching along 500 feet of white sand beach and hidden within 5,000 acres of lush, private vegetation, the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall resort is prefect for an epic family Jamaica vacations.
The Fairest of Them All:
When good ol’ Christopher Columbus arrived at Montego Bay I the 1400s, he dubbed it “Golfo de Buen Tiempo” or “fair weathered gulf”. 600 years later the weather is still as fair as ever. The ocean breezes are warm and the Caribbean sunshine calls your name all day long. It’s truly perfect weather for the complimentary windsurfing and snorkeling. They even provide you with fins for your feet so you can snorkel through the water easier. Apple vacations are the best… hands down.
Rooms are accented with warm pallets of color and generous living spaces. Elegant decor in tropical hues of greens, plums, and aubergines is calming for the tired minds. Expect to find all the modern day conveniences, and then some. All 428 suites have private covered balconies, complete with stone columns. All 5 restaurants combine various cuisines with the traditional Ritz Carlton flare. I’ll have the fillet mignon with a heaping side of ocean views.
Come Here to Live Like Kings, Not Rockstars
The Ritz Carlton Rose Hall has strict family-friendly, anti party-like-a-rock-star policies… so feel free to have an awesome time, but make sure to keep it between the lines. This ain’t Spring Break in Cabo.
Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana: Discover the Dominican Republic
On the East coast of the Dominican Republic are the tropical gardens and luscious palms that we dream about and hope to God that someday we get to see. Dreams Palm Beach resort in Punta Cana is the perfect all inclusive destination for a great family vacation. There is enough food and fun to keep everyone happy, while making sure the adults get the real vacation they need… just how any Apple vacation should be.
But We Want to Ditch the Kids!
That’s okay here! Leave them at the Explorer’s Kids Club anytime between 9AM and 10PM! The Red Cross certified staff supervises treasure hunts, sandcastle competitions, beach camping, ocean trampolines, monster-size basketball, and other crazy stuff. Pagers are available for those parents that just need to stay in touch. The Core Zone day program is available for teens. Both programs are part of the all inclusive vacation packages, so there is no extra cost.
It’s just as fun to be an adult here as it is a kid. In addition to fun water sports like snorkeling and windsurfing, there are big screen movies right on the beach, moonlit theme parties, cocktail receptions, a casino, stargazing, and different surprises each night. They even have bocce ball. Who doesn’t love bocce ball! Golf is nearby. And if you dare, try the Euro-bungee. The notoriously friendly staff will grant pretty much any request. For a truly special moment, ask about a private romantic dinner on the beach.
Details:
Each of the 513 suites come with spacious and furnished balconies or terraces, and flat screens. Some even have in-room Jacuzzis. Dreams Palm Beach boasts 8 restaurants and 8.5 bars… I’m not exactly sure what defines a “half” of a bar, but I like the idea of it! There are 3 beautiful freshwater pools, including one kids’ pool and one adults’ only pool, with sundecks, shaded areas, and a swim-up bar. Overall, this is an amazing location and destination for a Dominican Republic all inclusive vacation.
