Enjoying My Vacation: Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe
I have just recently visited one of the best properties in Riviera Maya, Mexico, BarceloMaya Palace Deluxe. This hotel was just outstanding, and an amazing destination for a teenager like me. I can only begin by telling you that Riviera Maya is a great vacation spot, with its Caribbean Sea, and nice beaches. Specifically speaking, Barcelo Maya Palace had it all, including Tennis and Basketball courts! This is not all, what was just utterly amazing was the this property included an actual Soccer Field located within its grounds! This means that you can enjoy so much when you visit Barcelo Maya Palace, from AppleSpecials!
From the sports and activities, lets go to the pools. This hotel had its own mini water park for the children! Located directly next to its main pool was a small waterpark that had water slides, fountains, and was complete with a beautiful touch. The pools also had water jets that shot out at fast speeds and were soothing to the back. Personally, I enjoyed the hammocks that were set all around the Pool area. What was unique about Barcelo Maya Palace was that usually you have the ice hockey, and billiard tables located in the sports area, whereas in this hotel they were located near the pool area.
The pool is also near a outdoor specially designed basketball court, made for playing in the Pool area. The fitness was great, it offered many different machines and workout stations. You could also rent a basketball, tennis racket/ball, football, and even a volleyball in the fitness area for use! Another amazing factor was that this hotel offered electric bikes, and golf carts, that you could rent and drive on the hotel grounds. Barcelo Maya Palace is a complex with other Barcelo hotels’, which means that this is closed, and very safe for driving and just enjoying your vacation!

Barcelo Punta Cana Hotel – Dominican Republic All Inclusive
Punta Cana is one of the most gorgeous destinations for travelers seeking a Caribbean all inclusive getaway. The resort districts of Punta Cana and Bavaro beach, situated on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, enjoy powder-soft pearl-sand beaches and tranquil turquoise waters that made the Caribbean a famous vacation district.
One of the most stunning resorts in the area is the Barceló Punta Cana Hotel, located just 25 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport.
Barceló Punta Cana Hotel – Not the Only Barceló All Inclusive on the Block
The area of Bavaro was once a village built to house the workers and service-industry workforce that ran the all inclusive resorts in Punta Cana. Because the beach is so attractive and the area grew to be so charming, it has since become a resort district of its own, hosting many Barceló all inclusive resorts, epic pro-designed golf courses and several casinos amongst the tropical beaches of the Dominican Republic.
Barceló Punta Cana Amenities
Take a look at our exclusive Apple vacations video of the Barceló Punta Cana and you’ll see why this is an attractive option for guests seeking the full Caribbean all inclusive experience.
The grounds include about 4 million square feet of tropical gardens, interlaced with lagoon-style pools with an amazing swim-up bar.
Barceló Punta Cana Spa – Metamorphosis
If you’re enjoying a honeymoon or couples vacation, know that the brilliant onsite spa Metamorphosis, has been newly renovated. The spa contains hydrotherapy, massage cabins, saunas, Jacuzzis and a full beauty salon.
Family Friendly Punta Cana All Inclusive
The area is bustling with resorts and hotels, including a convention center, casinos and dance clubs for nightlife, golf and a slew of dazzling restaurants. While the Barceló Punta Cana is great for many types of travelers, they don’t exclude families. Kids have dedicated facilities including a kids club, water slides and kid-friendly activities like ping pong, skating, water sports and a climbing wall.
Barceló Maya Palace – Apple Vacations from Apple Specials
Many vacationers have considered a trip to Cancun, one of Mexico’s premier destinations for sub-tropical climates and gorgeous beaches with silky white sand. The peninsula is built up with a slew of resorts and a great mix of shopping exists in the form of local markets and commercialized world-class boutiques.
But for some travelers, Cancun can get a little too commercialized or cluttered with spring breakers to really support a relaxing and introspective vacation. For travelers with slightly more culturally refined tastes, we at Apple Specials love to recommend the Riviera Maya, just a few miles South of Cancun. Here, the resort atmosphere and new world culture is blended into ancient Mayan sites and ruins, which you can actually see skylines views of from most of the fine hotels in the area.
One of our favorite travel destinations for honeymoon vacations, couple’s retreats or family vacations with the kids is the Barceló Maya Palace; an absolutely magnificent four star resort nestled in the Riviera Maya. It’s a perfect pocket of paradise on one of Mexico’s most beautiful beaches. Crisp, white sand and radiant blue water make the beaches gleam in the Mexico sun when looking from the window views of the Palace, and the resorts luxurious pools nearly rival the beaches.
The all inclusive resort is absolutely breathtaking, and is only in its third year of operation, a luxurious juxtaposition to the ancient Mayan ruins or sites of extinct cultures located just kilometers away. The Barceló Maya Palace offers 5 restaurants on site, 2 are buffet style restaurants and three are ala carte, offering some of the most beautiful views and cross-cultural cuisine in Mexico, from French brasserie style fare to spicy South American Brazilian dishes.
The hotel proper is all assembled in modern colonial architecture and fixtures. It hosts a lit football field with locker rooms for guests, lit tennis courts for night games, basketball courts and archery facilities, a slew of nightlife shows and even yoga and water aerobics sessions in addition to their large gym, all furnished to suit the active traveler.
Located next to the Palace are the Barceló Maya Colonial and Barceló Maya Beach hotels, whose guests intermingle between facilities and night life attractions. For those looking to experience the country a bit, one of our favorite little secrets is to take a short ride to Playa Del Carmen, home to yet another amazing beach, and also a very eclectic city showcasing some great local fare and art, and offering a ferry ride to the island of Cozumel to make for an interesting day away from the resort.
If you’re looking for a fantastic vacation for rest and relaxation but want to experience some non-resort culture as well, the Barceló Maya Palace is one of the most beautiful spots Mexico has to offer. Check out some of the available Apple vacations packages we currently have here at Apple Specials.
