SVH Travel, as you know, always visits resorts and documents them with video and photo content. On May 4th, Riu opened its brand new Riu Palace Peninsula in Cancun, Mexico. With its unique contemporary modern design, this hotel had me amazed! This Riu resort had its own VIP exclusive villa section, more than 30 suites with their own outdoor jacuzzis, and its superior types of rooms that gave visitors a beautiful look around Cancun! I have gone to take content from this newly opened resort, but in Cancun I also went around for site inspection to Paradisus La Esmeralda and Paradisus La Perla which seperated its family area from the Adults only section. I had also visited Dreams Puerto Aventuras, Oasis Sense, Fiesta Americana Condesa, Iberostar Cancun, and Oasis Complex, which distinguished itself from its three sections, the Oasis, Grand, and Sense. Soon I will be uploading the HD Slideshow and Video content for these resorts. During this business trip, I managed to interview Richard Valdes and Hugo Aguilera. To watch this interview, click here. You can also watch the Riu Palace Peninsula HD Slideshow by clicking here. On April 15th, 2011, Riu Resorts and Hotels had set up an event for SVH Tours and Travel at Silvana Gallery. Sandals Regency: St. Lucia’s Top All Inclusive Resort
A Lot A’Do
Ever heard of the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia, aka the Sandal Regency La Toc, aka Sandals La Toc, aka the Caribbean’s most glamorous resort? A resort with so many names should be a resort with many options; and it is!! This all inclusive resort provides unlimited access at no extra charge to all kinds of exciting land and water sports, including scuba diving and golf! But pack light: the year-round daytime temperature average is 82 degrees Fahrenheit, with nighttime averages at 72 degree Fahrenheit.
Nearby are 14 different coral reef sites, with optional scuba tours such as Night Dives, or Underwater Digital Photography. Stick around the resort when night falls for live shows and bands, a piano bar, karaoke, fashions shows, and more. Water elements are everywhere you look. Sandals Regency boasts 4 pools (including the island’s largest), 4 whirlpools, 2 swim-up bars, private plunge pools, waterfalls, bridges, a sauna, a steam room, and of course the glistening ocean at your door. An Apple vacation is never boring, unless you want it to be.
Stay At 1, Play At 3:
Sandals doesn’t have just one resort on the island of St. Lucia. It has three world-class all inclusive resorts, all within a short distance from each other. And guess what? If you stay at one, you enjoy full exchange privileges at all three. So don’t forget to check out the scene at Sandal Halcyon and Sandals Grande St. Lucian, both nearby. So, if you get tired of the 9 restaurants onsite at the Sandals Regency, you can go enjoy your all inclusive meals at the neighboring Sandals Resorts. Enjoy their pools. See their shows. Drink their drinks. You simply cannot get more out of a Caribbean all inclusive vacation package than what you get here.
A Posh Place to Be
Stretched along a half-mile crescent-shaped beach, this all inclusive beachfront property is surrounded by lush hillsides, rolling fairways, and exotic coral bluffs. The vibe here is very posh, like everyone knows it’s the place to be. England and France fought over this dazzling Caribbean island for almost 200 years, so St. Lucia is some pretty hot property.
Hey Honeymooners!
Although we weren’t newlyweds, I brought my honey here because I heard it was recently voted Best Honeymoon Spot for a Caribbean all inclusive resort. With the romantic natural settings and plush king size four-post beds, we couldn’t wait to get it on our schedules to come back again!
The Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana: Too Much Fun Stuff
What Kinds of Fun?
Wine tasting, daily yoga and tai-chi, cooking classes, pool volleyball, beach soccer, salsa and meringue dance lessons, painting. These are just some of the features that make the Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana stand out compared to other competing Caribbean all inclusive resorts. Snorkeling, sailing, and a casino are available at this Apple vacation resort, and of course there’s a golf course close by. When I vacationed here it was impossible to be bored. The selection of daytime and nighttime activities is endless.
Largest Pool on the Entire Island!
I was pleased with the number of dining options, as there are 7 restaurants, 8 bars, and 24-hour room service. One of the three pools was right on the beach, and apparently it’s the largest free form pool on the entire island. Swim up bars always make me smile. I counted 7 whirl pools. All suites have mahogany furniture, European jet showers, marble bathrooms, and ooh-la-la, a two- person Jacuzzi. I should mention there is a “spectacular” Kids Zone daytime program for children 12 and under that’s already included in the all inclusive package.
I love extravagance, but not at the expense of others. It felt good to know I was staying at a resort that’s ITR certified, meaning that Paradisus Palma Real operates with sustainability and special attention to the local culture.
Location:
This amazing and all inclusive resort is situated on The Dominican Republic’s Bavaro Beach, legendary for its pristine, powdery Caribbean shore. Only 25 minutes from the airport until you reach crystal waters, fresh gardens, and towering palms. The architecture is richly magnificent. Overall, this place is the epitome of elegance and fun… just what I’d expect from any Apple vacation!
