Just recently, my son Edvin, and I went to Jamaica for hotel site inspections. We inspected newly renovated and opened hotels in Jamaica, including: Riu Palace Tropical Bay, Secrets St. James & Wild Orchid, Grand Palladium, Iberostar Grand Rose Hall, Iberostar Suites Rose Hall, Sandals Negril, Beaches Negril, and Riu Negril. As you know, I have been to every hotel and property in Mexico, and the Caribbean. Filming and documenting every single property, I inspect the sites from A to Z. The first hotels from AM resorts in Jamaica, Secrets St. James & Wild Orchid are said to be the pioneer hotels. Visiting our Youtube Channel, SVHTravel, you can find our HD films and slideshows of the resorts. We stayed at Riu Palace Tropical Bay, the first Riu resort to be built in Jamaica. SVH Travel, as you already know, is one of the top producers of Riu hotels. Located in Montego Bay, the Adults-Only Secrets St. James and Secrets Wild Orchid are both located in one territory. Sharing the fitness and spa, these resorts are very innovative with their gorgeous design and modern attributes. Located on a picture perfect beach, these resorts are one of the top honeymoon destinations. I would highly recommend planning weddings in this location, with its natural beauty. Another excellent property was the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall, also another Adults-Only hotel, the more quiet and calm clients will enjoy their stay here. Not to worry, Iberostar Suites Rose Hall is right next to the Grand. Having many more activities for children, the Iberostar Suites even includes a lazy river and a kid’s waterpark! One of the more recent properties to open in Jamaica, the Grand Palladium was a very clean-looking resort. This hotel separates itself from the rest with it’s unique Sport’s Bar. The fact that all the rooms in the property included jacuzzis impressed my son and I. I find it very difficult to even try to sell a property I have not approved of or inspected. That is why I like to be informed of all the hotels I sell to my clients. Also inspecting Sandals Negril and Beaches Negril, my son found it amazing that all the rooms had new Xbox 360 slims, and there was a game room dedicated to Xbox 360s. Sandals Negril also had its unique crystal swim-out rooms. Ending the day, my son and I had a great perspective of all the hotels we’d visited. Enjoying the rest of our business trip, the next few days were spent well, in the beach and with each others company.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton is located inside a small bay on the northwest coast of Jamaica, along a privileged beach area bathed in turquoise waters.  Nearby is the small village of Lucea and Montego Bay. The adults’ pool is funner, complete with its own swim-up bar. I sat in the sauna and steam room every day for 10 minutes and slept like a baby. Fun sports like snorkeling, boating, billiards, and darts are all complimentary. Don’t let the kids hold you back: like most other Apple vacations, complimentary kids’ programs are available each day from 9-5. After sundown, live music and nightly shows will bring you and yours together.
Great for Food Lovers!
This resorts sets itself apart from other Jamaica all inclusive resorts with its broad selection of 10 on-site restaurants and 12 cocktail lounges. Most resorts have around 3 or 4 restaurants and bars, so this is pretty impressive for all food lovers. The restaurants range from casual to formal, so there’s always something to agree with your tastes and something new you haven’t tried yet. Happy Eating!

On the northwest region of Jamaica, inside Motego Bay is the all inclusive Riu Montego Bay. This is an all-around Apple vacation resort with something for everyone. They don’t call this Apple vacation resort “the pleasure seekers ultimate all inclusive playground” for nothing. Imagine having the guts to swim up and order a mai-tai, naked! But don’t worry; there are plenty of areas and pools that require being fully clothed.

An Intimate Resort:
All 280 rooms feature mirrors on the ceilings, tiled floors, and 5-head showers. With so few rooms at this Jamaica all inclusive resort, there’s plenty of private space for everyone. It’s also intimate enough to make some new friends. The good times will roll at any of their 5 restaurants and 5 bars, one of which is the world famous Club Hurricane. This recently refurbished nightclub is open ‘till 5AM, or when the last person leaves!
